Well, that's how it is. The cradle assembly is offset approximately 1/8" - 3/16" left of the frame centre line.

Threaded insert on the front caliper have normal direction threads?
Any tricks to remove it?

Someone on the forum done a write up on changing/upgrading the isolastics?
Or is the manual the best place to see how the job is done?

If you mean one of the "vernier" kits then it would be useful to know which, however there are previous threads about replacing Isolastics. Try forum searches using "isolastics" and "vernier".
