850 cylinder barrel studs- ? washers

Putting it back together. Found two 5/16" washers in the bag with the nuts for the barrel studs. Can't find them on the parts manual. Can someone tell me where they go? If on the barrel, why only 2 of the studs? Cylinder head?

I meant the case- to -barrel studs. Can't find any washers there on the parts diagram

Part number 063857 are 5/16" washers for the two front crankcase to cylinder studs (3/8" in the case, stepped down to 5/16" at the top. I think that is what you are looking at.

All the cylinder base hold down nuts have a washer under them. There are 4 washers p/n 063857 and 1 washer p/n 067872. These washers can be found in the parts book within Group 5, figures 11 and 12.
