72 New Exhaust Inserts

Hey everyone. New member here. Saw a lot of posts on re-threading exhaust inserts, but not much on replacing them. I have one insert that has come loose. I don’t have any issue with the design, I’m just looking for a shop that can put new inserts in. I’m in Charlottesville, VA. 72 Commando Combat. Thanks all.

Those inserts were a repair, not factory.
I did mine with the engine in the bike.
A weldor with a good reputation of repairing aluminum can do it.
You’ll have to get the inserts made.

If you want it fixed for once and for all definitely pull the head off and send it to the Norton machine shop, he uses a Bronze alloy that will out last everything, you'll be able to torque your exhaust headers with confidence for sure.
