72 gear box layshaft bearing.

Popped the old ball bearing off the layshaft didn't notice how far down the bearing was pressed on the shaft. The new fag roller bearing was placed in the gearbox housing and pressed the inner race on the layshaft. The race is even with the top off the shaft, but there is play between the race and the 4 gear. Should i push the race down to the top off the gear.

The inner race will be pushed onto the shaft all the way to the shoulder on the shaft. Jim
