Hi ya'll. I live in Elloree SC . I have a '72 Comando basket case. She's a freebie. Downside ,you have to pick her up. I will try to post some pics , if I can the right damed button! ,,,,cbxjon

I'd like it too, could be there in 6 or 7 hours. What would I do with it, well, I probably would not restore it, most likely I would keep the parts I need and, in the spirit of a couple of other forum members, I'd strip the rest and send it to those in need of parts, for the price of postage. Ain't I a good guy? Anyway, that's my offer on it.
Go on, choose me

The Van is gassed up and ready. I will arrive with coffee and donuts. Call me 610-513-1073!
It would make a great father and son project. Thanks for your consideration.

Hi and WELCOME to the forum!!!! Anytime you have another bike to give away please, just post away :D

I'm wondering what's proper protocol on a thread like this? On other forums I use it's the 1st poster to respond who has 1st crack. After that others can come on and say "I'm next in line if it doesn't work out for Russ" and so on. The cash offers should start coming soon. A look in the classified section will demonstrate what parts are worth. Maybe the only stiplification should be the receiver has to restore the bike and maintain a build thread here. Anyway what you are doing cbxjon is really cool and very generous! Thank You!

It would still be nice to see some photos just so we can all get really envious over them.

In Alabama, could be there on short notice. Better yet, my son-in-law in Savannah could be there quicker! Nothing a retired army aviator would like better than a free bike!

Yes I think so too... :)

Notice he still only has 1 post. I could be there within a day too.

I think it should go to the poster willing to travel the farthest to pick it up...I'm on my way to the airport!

I have given this matter a great deal of deliberation. I have weighed the various factors as distant to item, time to respond, estimated age of respondents, number of responses per respondent, and apparent heartfelt desire to own the item. With all these factors considered, I have determined the poor neglected Norton obviously needs a good home in a nice climate and it should therefore go to me!
And I would always feed it through Amals!

to post pix You need a photo account. These are the two I've found the easiest. (pronounced: free)
