70 Commando front guard stays

Can anybody give the dimensions[length etc ] of p/n 25540 guard stay as listed for 69/70 S type and roadster in my parts book which also states 68-70 used stay p/n 060619. i have 2 stays 1 that is about a 1 inch [25mm] shorter than the other. I visited a person yesterday who has a supposedly un molested 69 S and his stays are idendical to mine ie short one on the front stay slightly longer stay on the rear of the front guard. also cold some one give me the correct length of the bridge.

I have the original front stays and mudguard from my 69 "S". What measurements would you like, appears as if both stays are real close to the same for mine. My spares book lists 25540A for the 2 front stays, where did you get the 060619 p/n?

Dave 060619 came from my parts book which is covers 68 with supplements for 69 and 70 and 060619 is listed for 68-70 fastback models as is 25540 listed for 69-70 S and roadster. The two stays i have measure from the closest guard mount hole to the fork leg mount hole 1 is 12 inches the other is 13 inches

OK, I see where 060619 is under the fastback front mudguard on page 19 for the stay. I have no clue if they are different from the 25540A or what. I measured my stays and from the top mounting hole to the bottom of the fork mount hole, it is right at 12" on both stays. Both my stays are pretty identical. It measures across the top holes about 3 1/2" at the bends.

That's going to be a little more involved because of the curves. The width (front to back) is 2", the length on each side from the mudguard is 4 7/8", the holes are 0.293" from edge to center, and are for a 1/4" bolt. There is a bend from the bottom of each side at 1 1/8" that bends towards the mudguard. It is hard to measure the curve around the inside of the mudguard.
