69 commando camshaft

hi can anyone tell me if there is a thrust washer on the timing side of the 69 commando camshaft where it enters the bushing ? All other commandos I have done have a thrust washer that goes on the camshaft before the bushing. Any advice would be helpful

It depends whether it's '69 20M3 (outboard tach drive and points housing behind the cylinders) or 20M3S (inboard tach drive with 'points on camshaft').

If 20M3, then no.

It is a 20M3 with tach drive on the outside so no thrust washer required Thanks for your response
