Has anyone out there had to replace the left centerstand bolt on an Atlas or a Featherbed frame?

From how it appears the primary housing needs to be removed to get at it, which means pulling the clutch and crank sprocket.

Any tricks to replacing this that I am missing?

Maybe you could cut it with a die grinder and then re-install a new one with the nut on the clutch side.
Dan.

I think I've seen it said that you can remove the front (or rear) engine plate mount bolts, and jack the engine/gearbox up slightly to get at the centrestand bolts. ???

Treat this info with caution......
If it topples over anywhere in this process, the result may not be good.
A slip of the designers pen, thats for sure. ?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look at it from those perspectives. Hadn't thought of either, actually.

I'll let you know how it goes. I'm sure the easy way will show itself while I do it the hard way. :?
