Hi
After a year of no rides on the 650SS (COVID Stuff up) we are off to a ride in Illawarra this weekend.
The bike hadn't been started for over 12 months, drained the sump, topped the oil up, turned the petrol on and kicked about ten times a few kick backs and bang she started, and is now one kick, I had no additives in the fuel at all, but fuel was 98, idled away nicely
tank was about half full and I think there may have been a bit of evaporation going on because I remember topping it up not long before parking it up.
Will take for a short run about 5mins into town and fill up with 98 again ready for the weekend rides.
We are trailering 4 bikes to the event, two Hondas a BMW and the Norton, around 3 1/2 hours to Illawarra from here, just hope the rain stays away so we can possibly get a ride in on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning as well as the two official rides on Saturday.
