Very few people run a single 36 Mikuni but I know two people who do with good success. I want to compare jetting with other people who run a 36 and see what works for them. The one I'm thinking about has a 6DH4 needle paired with a P-0 needle jet. Normally this needle is paired with a P-6.
A 6DH3 is usually paired with P-0.
What do you have that actually works for you?

Not running a 36mm but I saved this sometime ago for tweaking in my 34mm @ 7500'. Ended up with a 210 main, 6DH3 @ lowest position. 159.08 needle jet
best I remember. Hope this helps ..........

If you lower the needle by raising the clip one notch at a time, you should be able to induce a miss when you are riding the bike, then raise the needle one notch. If you cannot induce the miss, the needle jet is too big. The main jet is not relevant to mid throttle tuning, unless it is too small. And it is mid throttle which is most important. Same when setting the idle - when the motor is warm and running - lean-off until you get the miss, then richen slightly. If your motor misses when you ride the bike, stop and fix it.
