2023 961SP Rear Paddock Stand

Looks like Dynamoto has extended its accesories range. Should be something suitable for the SP and (lack of) bobbin situation, if interested in these top stands - or have purchased Fozzie’s bobbins (above).

Would be great if they could innovate further and design a method whereby the front wheel could rotate whilst on the stand - no idea how they’d do that. A smaller set of internal carriage wheels maybe.

Did anyone find any stands that can be used to remove the front and rear wheels safely on the non bobbin model 961.
Iv just put mine in the shed for the winter and the wheels are in need of a good polishing.
Some way of lifting the bike from the point a center would . Save some space in the shed would be good.

I bought an Oxford rear stand with L cups,can’t use it without removing exhausts as the top of the stand posts come into contact with the exhausts before the L cups contact the swingarm.Contacted Norton who were no help,they suggested contacting Judd racing who were no help either!
Can anyone on here help with suggestions?

Ok let’s ask a different question.What stands are forum members using to lift the rear end on the new 961’s to facilitate wheel removal or chain maintenance?

I am using a black widow brand. The L brackets on mine can be rotated down and locked so no contact with the muffler will be made. If you use the axle hole posts , you can still clean and adjust . Or put the bike on side stand and adjust chain this way.

The problem is not the L brackets contacting the exhausts,it’s the main frame they fit into.The uprights are 16 1/2 inches apart,so they contact the underside of the exhausts before the L plates come into contact with the swingarm.It does work but you have to remove the exhausts to lift the bike on to stand.That only takes a few minutes but a bit unnecessary if anyone knew of a stand to fit better,that’s why I’m asking on here.

So they are too wide ? If I understand correctly ? Look at black widow .

Yes too wide.Can’t see anywhere in UK that sells black widow stands,somebody please correct me if I’m wrong.

Looks like the Black Widow (BW) is mainly out of the US. Dimension’s below - Tony can confirm BW 12 V2.

Couple of UK alternatives shown below.

- Foxley lists 961, but may refer to Donnie bikes; worth investigating.

- VMP may be another option; dimensions shown.

- Oxford mentioned; they may have an alternate stand to the one you’ve purchased.
