Why do it? It takes quite a long time for the pipes to gradually get worse and worse, so if there was an easy way to ‘get them back’ then even if it was done once a year, in winter, it’d be worth it.

So's not to derail this thread I've started a fresh one here...

Cleaning stainless.

A discussion sparked up on the '22 photo contest about cleaning stainless exhausts, so not to derail that thread I'm starting a new one. @baz mentioned using a TIG brush, which looks like it gives extremely good results judging by the video's on YouTube. I'm guessing not many folks have access...

It was ordered in for a Thruxton R. The customer paid 50% down then never picked up the kit.
The dealer put it on eBay at 50% of normal price so I scooped it.
