2019 Norton Rally

Was a site for the 2019 INOA Rally announced at the Tall Timbers Rally? Never too early to start planning long trips.

yes, I believe it's in michigan but not in traverse city area as it was before because the illinois norton owners are co-sponsering with michigan owners group (or something like that) the comment I remember most about the anouncement, is that it's being held 40 miles from "Hell, Michigan". So, the joke was, Norton owners going to Hell... or something like that.

The Rally will be in Brooklyn Michigan which is south central....west of detroit
BIG Change! It will be held in June, Not July due to high heat in July

Unless things have changed, the INOA chapter putting on the meet has almost complete control of the event, not the National club.
In this case Suzi is in and a member of the both the national and regional club.

Nope, not me. They announced at the 2018 rally that it will be the Catskills in 2020. At the same meeting where they announced the 2019 location in Michigan.

My wife and I are currently in Michigan visiting our son. Yesterday we took a drive up to the 2019 INOA rally site in Brooklyn which is located in the Irish Hills of Michigan. The area is absolutely gorgeous with the opportunity for some great riding. We also checked out Juniper Hills campground as we plan to haul our travel trailer up here from Arizona so we have an interest in the facility. Plenty of camp sites both shaded and out in the open. None have sewer hookups. We only saw one shower facility. The town of Brooklyn only appears to have one motel for those not camping. The next town with lodging is about 20 miles from the rally site. Another option may be to rent an RV from Michigan International Raceway which is adjacent to Juniper hills. Not sure if they offer this rental option but might be worth investigating. Looking forward to being here in June.

Only one shower for all the campsites looking at the campground map. I hope there will be more, portable, showers.

The speedway site says Brooklyn also has portable showers. Probably just a question of getting them to set some of them up for the rally, like they do for the races.

My thoughts on the additional showers also. I shoulda asked while I was there but since I'm going to be in my RV I didn't think about it.

We hired portable showers for the EndD OF THE WORLD RALLY in Vermont a few years ago, they worked out well.
