Hi all, I'm doing the ride again this year. I have just spent a couple of hours polishing the bejesus out of my bike, (sorry not a 961) so i'm all ready to go. Then I came indoors and checked my status and unbelievably I'm second highest "Funraiser" in Zurich, so come on folks help me. Wouldn't it be great to see somebody on a Norton win again ?

At Northampton DGR today there were 172 bikes registered. Two 70's commandos which were very nice and a fabulous Triton. I was the only new Norton and had plenty of compliments and one fella definately interested in purchasing one so I advisded him to do a friday tour. There were quite a few harleys, a couple of Guzzis, a 1930's beemer which was stunning. The vast majority of bikes were Triumphs, Bonnies, Thruxtons and several Bobbers. I was happy to be heavily outnumbered. It was a slow ride, a lot of clutch control as eddie elluded to.
