Hi, I have a 2010 961SE (015 of 200) and it suddenly lost total power on a ride. Checked the usual, spark, fuel, switches etc... All good. But could not test the only item left on the list (ECU, OMEX 600).
I live in France now and local bike shops can't help. Don't have tech data to fault diagnose!
I contacted SCS and they said "go to Norton". I'd done that before for minor bits and they are not interested in the pre New Norton (Garner era) bikes.
I noticed threads on ECU swap outs and wanted some advice. Did the Delta system work? Who from?
I'm willing to bring the bike to the UK for any updates.
I'm getting worried that with Norton's lack of any aftermarket support my 961SE will end up covered in a dust sheet.
Cheers, Roger

Hi Roger,
Sorry I can’t offer any technical advice, but I would guess your best bet might be to contact Stuart Bodycote at Motorvated Ltd in Derby.
He worked for Norton at Donington and now runs his own business. He is a 961 specialist.
Good luck.

Hi Roger, check (with a meter) all the fuses under the seat. Also look for any connectors that may have backed out behind the fusebox. Then the sidestand and clutch swithches.

Tank off Roger and check your positive battery terminal.

Earlier on Donington had the bad habit of securing two wires into a single non-insulated terminal end, on the positive terminal. Check carefully, it can be difficult to see.

Whilst there, check the main fuse in the positive line - a couple of inches away from the battery. It can dislodge from the holder and should be cable tied into the fuse holder.
