Here it is when I picked it up.
 
Hope you have the time to keep sharing your photos, it’s fun seeing what you found as the cost of acquisition was a very good one.
 
Got a jack for my bike. Only $88 at Menards. Works great, I'm very pleased. Trying to upload pics but it says "file to large". What to do?

Use a free photo editor (not windows paint).

Rotate photo as required for best viewing.

Crop off excess background.

Re-size to 1000 pixels wide on the longest side if the photo is "wide" (landscape)
Re-size to 800 pixels tall if the photo is "tall" (portrait)

That should result in a file size near 100K, very manageable...

I have what looks to be that very same luggage rack I got with my 74 in the spares box 30 years ago. Never used it.

Do you have any other pics of how the thing bolts up and the parts associated?
 
Great bike and a great story Larry. Best of luck with the project. I’ve had great luck with Metalrescue if the tank is rusty inside. Cleans it down to bare steel.
