1969 S: kickstart shaft blocked

Hi All.
The bike of my friend has a problem.
The kickstart shaft is blocked, dont go down.
I have disassembled all the gearbox without find any problem.
Gears, shafts, bushes, bearings, etc., are good.
In neutral the rear wheel turns free and with the gear enaged the engine turns.
All the gears engage.
The primary chain is not tight.
Tomorrw i will check the clutch because i can think that the kickstart shaft dont work because the gearbox main shaft is blocked.
Wayting or your suggestions.

Nothings wrong but the kickstart does not work.

Not a lot to go on.

Well something is wrong but gearbox and engine are rotating, suggest you renew the kickstart pawl, check the spring and plunger are free to move and the slot for the pawl in the kickstart shaft is not distorted and try that.

I remember the kickstart shaft has to be turned into a certain position when assembling the gearbox.
Maybe that is the problem ?
