Recently inherited a NORTON COMMANDO S produced MAR1969 SN#131257, which apparently is the actual 1st bike ever produced with side points. The bike is intact and ran when stored, but has been stored for 30+ years. Where can I go to find unrestored value/possible sale?

If you are in the US, check https://www.hagerty.com/valuation-tools. You might also look at what similar bikes have gone for at the Mecum auction. However, I think the Hagerty values are a little on the high side. Classic bike values are currently on the downslope

Other sources are Craigslist ( local and around the USA) and Bring A Trailer. But it is all about condition and costs of repairs as well to be able to ride it. Lot of bikes are no longer worth much that need lots of time and money to fix.

Interesting, how do you know it's the first?
What kind of shape is it in? Is it still original? What color is it?
What's the history on it? Who gifted it to you?
You must have some history or remembrance of it for someone to gift it to you.
Seems strange it would just suddenly appear in your life.

If he knows it's March '69 then it seems he must have the correct serial number just reading what he wrote.

It is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. The market for vintage Norton motorcycles has been pretty soft for the past several years with outstanding bikes selling for cheap. BaT is a pretty good gauge of the market. In unknown cosmetic and mechanical condition it is worth maybe
$1000. In excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition it could be worth $10,000. Only full disclosure with pictures and an auction can determine the value.
