Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has info. on the thickness of the spacers that fit between cradle and the gearbox? Thanks in advance.

On the bottom bolt that holds the gearbox the plate has a welded in spacer. The top bolt moves in a slot so you can adjust the primary chain, that needs some type of spacer. Also there must be a spacer at the top where the plates are bolted to the frame, those two points are not the same. The top is 3.35" wide and the bottom point is 3.5" Thanks for your reply. Sorry the second spacer is between the frame and the plate.

I am wondering if you might have the plates on opposite sides. I'd like to help you sort this problem but would prefer doing it via e-mail if that is ok with you. If your mounting plates are G15 they should have all the spacers welded to the plates and all spacers facing inboard.

Thanks for the part number and the dimensions, I'm slowly getting things together. Another question? There are two holes at the top of the plate that attach to the frame, on the top one the frame casting hole is 3.356" wide and the bottom one is 3.500" why is the top fixing point shorter? Thanks for your time, Chuck.

I think it's the tab of the battery carrier which goes under the left hand engine plate. You may have to glue on a washer to fully compensate the .144" differene in frame lug width.
No clear picture could be found of fitted plate and battery carrier. Look up Bobby Brown's restoration of a G15CSR for a faint view.

Thanks for the reply Knut, where would you say is the best place to find parts for these hybrids? Andover seems to have plenty of parts for the P11, not so many for the N15 G15.

You have to be creative using different sources, depending on the subject. Andover Norton, Walridge, AMC Classic Spares, Russell Motors, and Norvil m/c are the most valuable sources.
Baxter Cycle also has some parts. New petrol and oil tanks are made in India -- beware of substandard quality and dimensional mismatch.

For some parts, you need to rely on refurbishment and fabrication skills. Restoring a G15P / STD is far more difficult than a G15CS(R).

Good luck with your restoration!

You can also try RGM. They have parts for G/N15 and stock the 030250 washers.
