I have found a 1965 norton, acording to title. 750/850 do not know, i was wondering is there website to trace the seial numbers thanks

Check the engine and frame numbers [ left side frame gusset above swingarm pivot bolt], No 850's till 1973, so 122= 500, 18= 650 20= 750, i.e. 20/114000 should be a 1965 Atlas

If he honestly believes he has a commando, then I would think it would be correct to leave the thread in the Commando section. For some reason he feels he has a Commando, not an Atlas, and who knows, maybe he does. To quote the philosopher Swooshdave, "Pics would be nice".

I don't see where Jerry706 said it was a Commando, just wasn't sure if it was a 750 or 850.
