Unlikely- you need a heated cyl head before you can just move the tight bu**ers!

So sorry but maybe i dont understand what you mean.
Scrolled spindle are not tight and easy to remove with his tool.
To fit plain spindle maybe i must heat the head? I have the tool.
But, may be, you meant other?

Try to remove and replace spindles with head on engine. Sometimes they are not so tight. My spindles can be removed without heat.
Sometimes, just a little heat from a propane torch, in the right place, will be enough.
If you fail, then remove head, and use heat.

The old ones are worn and loose. the new ones may need the head warming up to expand the mounts. Strangely steel spindles can wear more than the alloy housings.

Hi.
This happens with commando heads too.
To some heads the spindles are loose, other tight.
The same happens with precommando heads.
