Hi, does anyone know where I can buy replacement valve seats for my 1962 model 50 please, David

Maybe Kibblewhite have something that could be used being high quality.
SERCO are the importer.

I got Phil Tainton Racing in Victoria to put big KW seats and valves in my DR780's cylinder head, you get what you pay for unless it is only a get it going type job.

If you have an old school engine shop will they not be able to come up with something?
Long story but mine has a non Norton exhaust valve (modified Chev one perhaps?) which is smaller than the inlet. They had to fit a new seat to suit when that valve was fitted and it just happened. I could ask who came up with the parts if that would help.

Be aware that the original seats were ribbed externally and cast in with the late heads i.e. they are much larger than they first appear on the surface. A competent engine re conditioner should be able to replace them for you.
