i'm not sure that the singles had one but if so it would be related to the points mechanism.
If you now have an electronic ignition then it would no longer be relevant.
It was mounted beside the points under the cover behind the RH side of the cylinder.
Not sure why you're asking, but a slightly yellow/orange spark (on earthed spark plug) is a sign of a failed condenser(capacitor)
Should be blue/purple.
EI systems have these failures too - just more rarely.
