Good morning all. I unfortunately ran over a bed of nails last weekend on my 961 Sport. (Just kidding, but I do have four nails in my flat rear tire.) I purchased a new Dunlop Q3, but because I have the spoke rims I need a tube. No tube is an exact match. In fact, when I speak to any of the internet shops, and I tell them I need tubes for this tire, the first question out of there mouth is, "What kind of bike are your riding?" Has anyone had to purchase a new tube? What is a good fit? Thanks.

Not suprised.
Inner tubes for these tires are not commonly required.
180\55-17 is normally mounted on a mag wheel, and run tubeless on most modern bikes.

Thanks for the condolence. It has been a bummer. Interestingly, the issue regarding the kick stand being a little too long intensified with the flat. I had to strap the handlebar to a 5 gallon bucket of rocks so that the bike wouldn't topple over. (The things we do for love.)

The bucket sounds like a great cost effective solution.
These are the things that will make you really appreciate the short stand when you get one.
