It's almost the 100th day of the year (4/10), so you've got time to dust off your bikes, change the oil, and set up your regional ride!

The point of this ride that I inaugurated over a decade ago, is to GET YOUR OLD BIKE OUT AND RIDE!

There are not hard and fast rules, it's just an attempt to ride 100 miles on the 100th day of the year, and for you and your bike's ages to combine to at least 100 years. For you younger folks and/or those with newer bikes, you can take a passenger along to make the math work.

The options are virtually limitless for any other "100s" you can come up with -

-Top 100 MPH at some point on the ride
-100 minutes to complete the ride (for you cannonballers)
-100 degrees on the day of the ride
-100 turns/curves
-100 dollars spent on an expensive lunch/dinner
-100 potholes avoided
-100 scenic photographs

For those unable to ride 100 miles, go ahead and do 100 kilometers.
For those of you who like to ride at a sedate pace, feel free to top 100 KPH instead of MPH (easy, even on a small bike).
If you, your passenger, and your bike's ages still don't equal 100, wear your oldest pair of underwear, some of you can easily top 100 that way.

Again, the above are just SUGGESTIONS, do as you like; but get your friends together and GET OUT AND RIDE!

...and PLEASE, post photos and tell us about your ride...

Sounds like a great fun excuse to ride!

'"If you, your passenger, and your bike's ages still don't equal 100, wear your oldest pair of underwear, some of you can easily top 100 that way."

Wait, what's this about underwear? I thought we always have to ride "Commando" style?

I will be 74 by then and my rider Commando and my rider Trident are both 74s - does that count for anything? :)

I guess I'm in, a 50-year-old Commando (next year) plus being 74 = 124

My big problem - too damned many customer projects and no time to work in either of my riders!

2024 being a leap year, the 100/100/100 ride will be April 9th!

I'm all set...
