Norton Shoes

Those would compliment my Norton underware with the built-in pee shooters.

Would not want them...heard you have to tip them over and drain oil out of the bottom if you let them sit for too long.

I have pre booked a new pair of Clarks Norton boots, can't wait to get then on my feet. They will be a numbered issue ,mine will be labelled 10 on the inside of each boot, but I will be checking in case the matching numbers have not been altered in any way. As for warranty ,it is always tough when you buy the first off the production line . I just can't wait .

Is that LAB just to the RHSide

Some years ago, I bought a pair of Clarks suède shoes. I kept them in the wardrobe for a while as I didn't need them at once and when eventually I put them on , the soles let loose after not even a mile
On my complaint, I never got a reply from Clarks, so never again !

They have always been a good not overly expensive brand here.
Will likely sell a few more of these than the exclusive brand originally selling Norton branded footwear.
Not sure whether i would rely on them as riding gear though, the soles look quite vulnerable compared to normal bike boots with moulded on soles.

I have two pair of Clarks - they are great shoes. One pair I got as a gift in about 2002 and they get worn 2-3x/week and look almost new. Super comfy.

I think the boots look pretty nice actually. I'm certainly not a fan of the "new Norton" company, but these boots look fine to me.
Of course who knows how they fit, feel or how long they'll last. But if I was in the market for a set of riding boots, I'd give them a try.
They seem like a decent profile design without being a work boot, and without being the crazy tech modern type riding boots that most companies make these days.

OK, wow had to back up abit and reread, " but these boots look fine to me." as you say... Ive got rear sets and not sure whether they would be worth the investment..

Comon wilkey, it has nothing to do with "who knows how they fit, feel or how long they'll last.".. Its only about the look...

Yep, I think i musta missed something here but "They seem like a decent profile design without being a work boot,".. Does that mean there good for casual wear or am i looking at the wrong pictures.. We are talking M/Cycle riding here are we not ??? or horse riding ??....

olChris,
The boots I was looking at on the Clarks website, are called Norton Rise. I can't say I like any of the rest of the boots, but that's juts my preference.
I've worn Thorogood work boots to ride in, for the past however many years. Burned thru 3 Vibram soles, and finally switched to a commando type sole, which isn't made by Vibram (can't recall the maker right now). The Thorogood boots are more comfortable to me than a pair of Red Wings, and I like that they're made in the US.
The point is, they're still moc toe work boots, and they're a bit clunky for my taste. They work well, but I also have rear sets, and I would simply prefer a slightly sleeker design. So then, what to buy? A modern motorcycle riding boot is pretty tech looking. Lewis Leathers boots are about $600. All I'm saying is that there aren't too many good options in my opinion out there. So I clicked the link when I saw this post, and these boots didn't look terrible to me. I don't think Clarks has much, if any experience with riding boots, hence my "disclaimer" about not knowing the fit etc. And I also think the "new Norton" company is pretty cheesey. But let's say this boot didn't have the Norton logo on it. I'd likely look at right along with the Thorogood, Redwing, Wolverine etc etc.

Ok, I'm done "defending" my opinion. Please feel free to tear it apart.

Sorry olChris that it is not LAB, but......
Norton Shoes

We all buy so much branded stuff these days (mostly utter crap), whats the fuss here? At least Clarkes actually make decent quality footware. If someone wants Norton boots then why not. Its no worse that a Triumph tee shirt, or Harley bandana, etc!!

And that is not LAB in the picture, how dare you. It is quite obviously Hobot...!
