Fork Re-chroming

I need to get my N15 fork tubes re-chromed, can’t find any new ones
Any recommendations, based in UK

Thanks for that, remember using them years ago but thought they went through a “rough” time but looks like ok now …… thanks
 
I had five pair of new Rickman stanchions done & a pair of 34.5 mms Trident forks built up to 35mm for North yokes & clipons & they did an amazing job​
 
I've used the above & also Nottingham Hard Chrome & Grinding. Also very good.
 
I've had two sets done by philpots
One pair were really good
One pair were ok from memory

Not sure which diameter fork tubes it takes. I just replaced the ones on my '61 Matchless G3 which may be the same.. I had a hard time finding them but finally did at Walridge Motors. Quality was excellent. I think the price for polishing/rechroming would be close to what a new set of fork tubes would cost.

Thanks for info, now I have a dilemma, new ones or re-chrome ? Both options are the same price

Corrosion without pitting is rare. If your fork tubes are just mildly pitted in the region swept by slider's upper bearing bush, I'd choose rechroming ("hard chroming").
Be sure to obtain a cost estimate before embarking on this route, and make sure your fork tubes are absolutely straight (perform the rolling test on a flat surface).

There are a few pitfalls associated re-chroming.

If fork tubes show noticeable pitting to a depth which requires grinding them, quality fork tubes as offered by AN would be my preferred alternative.
