Is this a full kit, or did you make the base and spacers?

I made the base and spacers, the base mount is a piece of 4mm alloy and it is attached to the RGM threaded inserts in their base.

Catalogue/ seats and about 4 down on page one

The issue I found is the '72 frame rear loop has a larger radius rear bend - I'm guessing to accommodate the wider 'D' section rear mudguard, since earlier frames used a narrower 'C' section.

According to the dynodave list both wide and narrow (normal) continued.

As far as I can tell Dynodave's investigation was focused on 850 frames.
I'm presuming my '72 frames are UK, not Italian built?

Yes I was just pointing out that the narrow frames appeared to continue on into 850 so how can it be due to the change in mudguard section or Italian frames.
