Atlas Manifold Intake Manifold Balance Pipe

I made a few balance spigots for my Atlas manifolds . The intake valve cover sticks out just enough to prohibit the spigots from being able to fit as they should. Any reason why I couldn't simply install the manifold upside down and have the spigots pointing down?

Down was how my P11 intake manifold balance tubes were originally, and they worked as good as any balance tube does with Amals. P11 has the same engine orientation and short intake manifolds, but not with the fins from the factory.

My intake manifolds were shorter closer to 1/2". Not very relevant though.

jms; Pointing down is the factory way to mount them on an Atlas or Hybrid. I think mounting upward is a Commando feature. Mark
