p.s. Motorcycle Live at the NEC? had half a mind to go but £31 entry? plus £19 parking. I think not.

My first motorcycle was an Indian 500. It was very well engineered - much better than a Harley. The primary drive on it was an example of excellence.
 
That is a really sweet motorcycle. I would love to own it. It is good in so many ways. A Commando engine is wasted in that frame. When I ride a powerful motorcycle, I like an adrenalin rush. You cannot do that on public roads.
Do you class a commando as a powerful bike?
If so then maybe try an actual powerful bike out Al !
