folks , what causes revs hanging on my triumph 900 triple,

cleaned the carbs, internals, cable is free, pilots and mains cleaned, all rubbers on inlets and outlets good

when parked up and on tick over she is good, revs great throttle releases fast but i think revs slow to go down but not too bad
but when i take her out on road as im changing around 3k revs thru the gears she very slow to drop ,

i have set the airscrews to factory spec as she is bog standard 2 turns out

all jets are clear and standard,

bike was laying up for 4 years , done all oils plugs the lot

was going try balance the carbs tonight as i have set of guages any help or advice be great here folks

Enrichener seats in poor condition is one possibility that can cause that.

Clogged idle drillings can cause the idle to be up onto the pilot circuit (idle speed screw)

Corrosion inside cables, CV carb butterfly valve shaft seals hardened up.
