Has anybody had success in having a billet camshaft manufactured from EN40 or similar?

All the recent production cams I've seen have been chilled iron. The only potential issue AFAIK is to torque the retaining nut carefully as they're rather brittle.

EN40 is a very durable and long lasting cam material. Even more so if its Plasma Nitrided but that costs extra and is usually special order. Hard welding the lobes is also very durable and reliable.

Thank You, looking for reliability.
Are there many reviews for these cams?
I haven’t looked, but they refaced a set of followers for me at the same time, and looking on their website, they have been making cams for lots of vehicles for a long time, and I have never seen any adverse comments about the company. You can phone them and have a chat, as I did way back when.

Yes they have Jan. I think many Brit bike owners are running Newman cams whether they know it or not as they supply all sorts of trade dealers etc.
