My Baby Has a New Pair of Shoes

All dolled up for the big dance with new shoes.

I haven't changed a motorcycle tire in nearly 40 years. My schedule had me doing it in the morning and here on the Canadian border I didn't have the luxury of letting the tires warm up in the sun. It was quite a chore.

I haven't changed a motorcycle tire in nearly 40 years. My schedule had me doing it in the morning and here on the Canadian border I didn't have the luxury of letting the tires warm up in the sun. It was quite a chore.

Did my back tire last weekend. Threw new tire on the cement on patio. Ambient air temp was 70f. After 20 minutes in the sun the surface temp of new tire was 120f. Made life much easier.

Unfortunately I did the rear on Friday morning, then got sidetracked that afternoon.

Started on the front at 9:00 AM Sunday and did a 180 mile ride that afternoon.
