Hello everyone. In addition to my motorcycles I enjoy travelling around the UK and Europe, when we’re allowed to, in my Burstner Motorhome.

I also run a forum that I’ve inherited that caters for likeminded people where we share our ideas and views in much the same way as we do here on this site. Albeit we tend to talk about 4 wheels and not so much 2 wheels, but we do have quite a number of bikers as members.

If any of you also would like to access my forum - Jerry has looked in and has permitted me to advertise it on here - then please visit

www.motorhomeowners.org

The site is free to use, I do not have any adverts, and we advertise ourselves as the ‘friendliest’ forum - we’re self moderating mostly being both male and female participants, but I won’t tolerate any bad language, name calling, ill will or such like.

So, if you’d like to come in and talk about yourself, your likes, dislikes, your travels, your vehicle, your pets (we love dog owners, although there’s at least one who travels with a cat) where you like to travel, your travel aspirations, guidance on travelling all over UK & Europe we can help you out. We have had people ‘accidentally’ join from the US but find our knowledge base is rather lacking - but we like to talk to you regardless.

We also have members living away from the UK. Mainly France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, and who have I missed?

interested? Perhaps you maybe considering ownership, many people are starting now because of the pandemic, well we can help advise you. It is SO easy to make a mistake and spend money unnecessarily.

Thanks Simon (aka Simon Admin and BurtSner)

That video, Norton Transformer, is awesome!

I bought a nearly-new (15,000 miles) Allegro 30' motorhome with a Chevy Vortec 454 recently. The only problem? The roof failed in the Texas sun (it had been sitting) so it got rained in many times. Lots of water damage and mold. I immediately got it under cover, so it will not get any worse, but it's going to take a lot to get it useable.

Engine runs great, I had it up to 45 within less than 1/4 mile (it was parked very close to my place), but the generator won't start. "Let the fun begin"...

You should join and show us pictures and what problems you are up against. We don’t have any large RVers on-site but I know of one who used to have some very large ones both in Europe and when he was in the States. You can upload pictures direct to the site from your PC without need for an intermediary, it will resize them automatically.

Welcome aboard, it will be very interesting to all of us on there when we get to see what you’re playing with.

Would the Chevvy V8 Norton race transporter qualify for this website, I hear it was being recommissioned . . . . . . .

We have a 2017 Elddis Encore Motor home & tow a Motolug trailer (which is fantastic if your short of storage at home or hate having to carry a loading ramp) and take with us either the Triumph Explorer or Piaggio scooter haven't yet risked the Nortono_O
The van was a lot of money but we just wouldn't be without it
