Which brake plate do you have, Norton or AMC?

Don't know. It is the same front brake as the front brake used on the G85CS. Does that mean it is AMC?
Two Americans stuffed a Atlas 750 engine in a G85CS frame and raced it in the California desert. That is what the Norton P11 is based on. Stories vary, but that is the one I like. I'm not building P11 replicas and selling them, so my story may not be accurate.
The brake plate is not listed in my White Norton Villiers master parts list book for 1966-1967-1968 P11 and others.
This is what it looks like on the outside of the plate side. It is a 7" SLS brake.

Just a polite query (in the spirit of fellow P11 enthusiast).. Do you know if your forks are 'as built?' Just no provision for mudguard stays and pinch bolt arrangement different??......Don't know. It is the same front brake as the front brake used on the G85CS. Does that mean it is AMC?

I think that N15/G15 Roadholder forks have the mudguard stay mounts front/aft at the bottom of the slider, as your link shows.
P11 are AMC forks, and should only have one aft?

Whilst I can't comment on the G15 drawing, I would query the P11 illustration. As far as I am aware they were all fitted with a version of the AMC 'teledraulic' forks, internally there were differences as the model progressed from competition to road use, but ALL with two stays.

Answer is the forks are Spanish Betor forks, a less expensive alternative to Ceriani forks. I bought the forks new in the 1970's, because I bought the basket case bike in pieces in milk crates and there were no forks, or whatever Norton restoration buffs call triple trees (Yokes?). I was not trying to restore it. I'm not sure restoring P11's in the 1970's was even a thing.
My brake stay is on the left side (seated on the bike) where it belongs, but the angle is different because the Betor fork fender (mudguard) mounts are wider and at a different location from the Roadholder forks, or whatever came on P11's. I made a mounting bracket for the brake stay, and had to put the mount forward of where it would be with a Roadholder fork.
