Norton Commando Production Racer - Yellow Paint Code

I purchased a 1970 Norton Production racer replica, I am trying to find a paint color for the darker yellow tone many of these are painted.
The codes I see for Norton Paint codes are the Canary yellow and Norvil yellow, the problem is that depending on who is posting they call the Norvil Yellow as Canary which is not the color I am looking for.
Does anyone know the paint code for the darker yellow you see in the first picture?

These both are not the correct yellow.

Funny, I will be painting the new metal side panels for my proddie racer & was going to ask the same question. I have fairings large & small tanks one fibreglass side panel & hand painted oil tank! All close but!

In the UK fibreglass resin colours were BS standard colours but RAL took over from the 60's onwards. So a RAL colour will likely be the best match.

My stuff has the yellow gelcoat and I never painted the aluminum tank.

Also the NWNOC stuff was 30 years ago. I can’t remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.

I know this isn't helpful but I always liked that yellow that Honda painted some of their Goldwings, I don't like Goldwings or even Hondas for that matter, so it did feel wrong painting my Norton in that colour, but I liked the pearl and as I don't care about originality, out came the spray gun.

The big surprise was, when I changed the Khun seat I had on it for the Norvil type you see here, apart from the pearl finish, the colour is the same, so much so that I never got round to painting the seat.

I found this rather useful tool while browsing the net :

This allows you to upload a photo, pick a point and it returns a colour match (RAL colours).
This is subject to all the usual problems of lighting and colour management though - for example, on the BSA tank above, it returns RAL 1023 rather than the actual RAL 1003. Use with care!
