I know this is supposed to be in the classified section.. I posted there too, but wanted to see if anyone in the states has a 961 sport for sale. Thanks

That's a clean, sharp bike.
Yes. Nice bike at a fair starting price. Only beef I have is his knowledge of 961 history. There were NOT 5 to 10 bikes per week being shipped to the states in 2010. You and I Fred got ours off the first shipment of 10 bikes in 2014. Gold Coast took 3 or 4 and shipped the rest to Chicago and California. Maybe after that, 5 to 10 per month. I believe there are 200 plus bikes in the US now, according to GC in 2016.

The SE for sale looks like no updates have been done on it apart from the SBN exhaust, no transmission vent,HT leads, oil in box kit etc , but then neither has this one , same one perhaps ?

SE in the pic here is in “ Moto Fantasy “ rental company in Oregon , $250 a day & it’s yours ,it had around 1000 miles on it in 2016 when I took the picture

He does only say "shipped", not "shipped to the US".

Great , A 2015 is available in Detroit. I know that mine is not for sale . There is a 2017 CR available at Gold Coast .

That many?
I would like to know the exact number here.
Ben said around 250 when I was in for service and he was washing his hands of Norton. The old fellas at GC were buddies with that original jerk that was put in charge of Norton America. I think he was the one of nearly destroying Ducati in the states too.

That bike was bought and returned. Its been there since 2017. Pretty sure it needs to be sorted. Buyer beware. OR it might be a gem. I live about 10 miles from there.

Well maybe if the price is right it may be worth a look . If you are east of the Mississippi then not to far from Coote's for a go over ? Maybe he likes doing his own work . If you are west of the Mississippi then Skeleton Cycles Denver . Or South you can try AF1 Racing , Or West Indian of Orange County Ca.

Saturday when I picked up my new Ducati Diavel from the dealer, the dealer selling this Norton was literally across the road. Unfortunately, they allow no visits because of Michigan’s lock down.

What town / City? Ill look up the name of the place and call them. Thanks

I know Gold Coast had a bike that the owner pushed the lemon law and so not to get the bad rap, Norton just refunded him and Gold Coast kept the bike. It was just too expensive for Norton to want it back. That might be the bike. It would have been gone by now had it been problem free. Especially at the low price they were asking. Buy yea....I'm sure it could be sorted.

Curtis,
The Lemon Law Bike was a 2014 CR.
I heard the new owners of GC sold it in a consignment of several bikes to another dealer.
The 961 currently at GC is a 2017 CR, so must be a MKII.
It's listed on their website as a New motorcycle, not part of their previously owned inventory.
