This is my first try at creating a video and posting it on Youtube. This is a ride I took on my 961 back in January with my grandson (on his Ducati, not his Norton:() and a couple of friends. I got blocked by a car they all managed to pass (braver than me), but we ended up at the restaurant about the same time for lunch. The speed is probably not all that impressive, but it is a nice view of one of our favorite local rides. I did cut out some of the less interesting parts (mostly long straights), to get it down to a reasonable time.

Unfortunately, the resolution lost a lot during the processing at Youtube. I assume that's something to do with Youtube rules and such. I'll have to sort all that out eventually, and see what I have to do to correct it.

OK, I figured it out. You just have to change the settings on the playback screen to 1080p, which is what I recorded it at. Much better looking.

The best part starts at about 9 minutes. That's the start of the Dennison Grade.

TOTALLY ENJOYED THAT. REMINDED ME OF LED ZEPPELINS GOING TO CALIFORNIA. GREAT ROADS

Looks like it was a great day out on road.
Your 961 sounded awesome.
Thanks for sharing.

So we did, during one of the Socal Norton Club rides, I think. Boccali's restaurant near Ojai, very popular with bikers on weekends. Looking forward to lunch there again once the lockdown is over.

I see that no passing zones are more a suggestion that a law.

I blame it on the influence of the scofflaws I've been riding with. It's all their fault. Actually, here in Socal, it's pretty much necessary if you expect to have a decent ride. Some slow drivers will pull over to let faster bikers (and cars) by, but many won't.
