Personally I’d still do it.

I pretty much agree. I bought a new cloth covered expensive new loom and at the very first connection I tried to make the bullet fell off in my hand. !!!!!!

Curses!!

I put it in my spares box and remade the connectors on my old harness.

Actually it's probably easier to change them all with a new harness than trying to retrofit a harness in place. I have a box of those 4 mm bullets and while they are nice, I wish there was an equivalent size that mated with Lucas bullets. I have all the appropriate crimpers, including one for Lucas bullets.

Yes, it must definitely be easier off the bike.

This looks very interesting, thanks Ludwig. For anybody else who is curious, have a look at https://www.wwag.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/WebSite.woa/wa/DirectAction?page=!37892
This self-cancelling feature would suit me for the same reason as ludwig mentioned.
The instructions mention the maximum load, being 7 Amps.
Maybe I overlooked, but I could not find information about the required resistance when using LED lamps, say for 2 indicators in modus 7.
Has anyone found out what the required minimum load is to be, to make it work?

all my bikes including 72/73 850 have pazon surefire, 6V PVL coils, tympanium or podtronics rectumfrier reg'later, LED bulbs, sealed Scorpion or Motobatt batteries, new lucas or wassell alternator rotor/stator you might as well go all in and freshen up every part at the same time PS I make my own wiring harnesses... wait///did I say all that before? if so me sorry wife sez I repeat myself mo and mo and mo and mo
