Guess the one that matches specs in your book and that fits your tray , would suggest a brand you familiar with ....

Have had good service from Bikemaster Gel Batteries. Their AGM didn't impress me as much.

+1 for Motobatt

Specifically for the standard MK3 with standard tray, it is the MBTX14AU that you need.

AGM batteries

The best price i could find in the UK is from Tayna:

I have bought other stuff from them before, and they are as good as gold.

You should note that these are a little taller than the size '12' that was originally in the bike.
However, the extra cold cranking amps you are getting means it is a worthwhile squeeze.
...so much so, that even Andover will now recommend the size '14' for a MK3

I recommend you stay away from lithium based technology unless you are going to spend time and money updating your charging system to accommodate it.
I also recommend you stay away from gel based batteries - they are more expensive than AGM, for a technology that is not well suited to bikes like ours in my opinion.

The lithium pocket charge/boost things are great to carry while not much bigger than a pack of smokes and they will boost a car or your bike several times on a single charge .... why bother putting one in your bike and spending on the other upgrades when you can just carry one in your pocket etc. for emergencies ....

I like the shorai battery tons of CC amps a bit pricey but a great battery

I've had good luck with Motobatt. Probably bought ten of them by this point. Get em off ebay with free shipping.

Had one on my ZZR for 12 years.. It has survived reg/rec failure and is often left for more than 6 months. Bike always starts..

The Chinese made Motobatt I used in my RZ350 quit after 3 years.
I have one in the Tiger 1050, I’ll let you know how it lasts.

had mixed results with motobatt and scorpion agm motobatt I bought for 72 T120 lasted 2 years my friend keeps his 72 A65 here his motobatt 5 years old and still good...scorpions last between one year and have another one 6 years sold still ok...i have battery tender Jr and plug all my 6 bikes to it once a week til light turns green...…….bikes that only get ridden several hundred miles a year each as mine do a crap shoot batterywise.

AGM were developed for use in helo's to stand the vibration. Gels are not so good that way. Go with an AGM. Get a smart charger and just keep it on the thing. It will last a long time.

Thanks for all your posts, I have decided to go for the Motobatt battery so i will see how well that goes.
