Been trying to get a hold of them for a timing cover mod. Anyone been in contact with them recently?

Last time I spoke to Mike was back in the spring
Got a couple of universal cables for my Matchless project

They did my timing cover this spring. I know email is their preferred method of contact; that's the email I used.

Mike responded to my email. They are still doing the mods. I have two bikes that have it and it makes a ton of difference. Before, the sump had to be drained even after just a couple of days. Now I never drain them. Yes, the level in the tank does drop some if you let them sit a month or more but there is always a little oil on the end of the dip stick and if that's present I have no qualms about starting the engine. I just make sure to watch the tank refill before I ride off. IMHO a must do mod on a Norton.

Emailed Mike and got quick response. Am flying to Tucson, and he agreed to meet me to pick-up 2 timing covers. Just cancelled the meet because I didn't have time to get them cleaned up enough to take on plane. Mike answered in less than a day. Plan to ship them when I replace my wood stove; or it doesn't get 25 below again.

I'm just catching the tail end of this thread. It sounds as if there is a timing case mod that slows or perhaps stops wet sumping? Can someone elaborate a little further?

Thanks.
