Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, a 961 newby here and wasn't sure what to search for.
The bike is an earlier single seat sport and the connector below is hanging free - just a wondering what it does etc.

Looks like someone's replaced the standard charge connector designed for kids radio controlled cars with a conventional power connector.

Regards,
Clive

Is there power 12 V on it ? I Can't say i've ever seen that connection before. Can you follow the wires back to their source ?

Thanks for the feedback.
The bike is in a row of bikes and was difficult to access, will drag it out and have a closer look in the next few days.
I am to go back, put the battery on charge and see if we can fire it up. Tried starting it yesterday but the starter just clattered, hopefully just the battery being a bit low.

The background is that it belonged to a close friend who, very sadly, died in an accident while riding one of his old Norton's earlier in the year.
It won't be for a SatNav but I will check for power to it.

Rest in Peace, fellow biker.

Clive wins the prize, looks like the factory charge point behind the rear shock hadn't been discovered so this was connected direct to the battery.
