For sale is a 1973 750 Commando, 235xxx series. Most likely originally a Hi-rider, it has a drum front brake and had a small headlight. Acquired from local long indoor storage two years ago and restored to its present state. Quadruple bypass heart surgery last year has put an end to my riding days, so off it must go.
Good compression, starts easily and runs, but needs sorting to be roadworthy; you'll need a truck or trailer to pick up. Actual mileage unknown and speedometer operation is erratic . Dunstall parts include seat, tank, front fender, rearsets, Decibel silencers. The fiberglass Dunstall tank has never been exposed to ethanol gasoline; a steel India-made Production Racer tank is in place now. Long list of receipts for installed parts including Excel WM2x19 alloy rims/Buchannon SS spokes, Avon Road Runner tires, stainless front fender, Magura clubman bars, fork rebuild parts including stanchions, front brake shoes, dynamo rotor, left crankshaft seal, points seal, ignition points/leads/plugs, carb rebuilt kits, fuel taps/hoses, headers/SS clamps, 7" headlamp/supports, all wheel bearings, drive chain, rear sprocket/brake drum, battery, clutch/brake/throttle cables, many SS/chrome fasteners, etc.
Complete extra front drum brake wheel and two more Dunlop steel rims included. Assorted pipes and used parts. Tools, including clutch removal tool, exhaust nut wrench, point seal tool, ramp and spare right timing chest cover.
