This is a 1974 Norton Commando Seat that was mounted on a fully restored 1975 MK III Commando bike that was never ridden. It was the incorrect seat for the 1975 Commando (no seat hinge for 1975 mounting) when I recieved the restored bike so I replaced it with the correct seat.
This seat may fit other years of Commandos besides 1974. This seat is made in the U.K. by R.K. Leighton, has a passenger strap, a checkered top and retails for $425 from Baxters, part # 06-3676.
It is mounted on each side of the seat bottom pan to the Norton frame by 2 seat securing knobs (not included) which attach to long upper shock bolts. Shipping to upper U.S. only.
