Zards 2 into 1 exhaust system

‘Is there anybody out there’ that is using the Zards exhaust system?
Will they run on the decat open exhaust map?
They’re about $3,000 aus. (I’ve got insurance money so might as well spend it)
Ollie from Thiel motorsports is doing a nice set up and waiting for his price.

Terry from Kent who is on this forum uses a Zard system. It was fitted by none other than Stuart Bodycote I am sure that one of them will have the answers you want

Do Staintune exhaust still exist.
They are were Australian.
Fitted them to a Ducati, very well made and the sound was awesome, as young people say.
They might do an exhaust for a 961.
 
Staintune are still in business but are not what they used to be. The old bloke retired and the company is much smaller with new factory etc. The website says they only do about 5 bike exhausts.
I have an 1982 Ducati with a 2 into 1 stainetune exhaust and your right the sound is pretty good. If they were still doing one off systems I’d get them to do it.

That’s a shame.
 
I like the spring retained rear section of the header pipe.
Do you know whether the collector/silencer can be re-packed with fiberglass material?
 
@nopdog if you talk to Brendan at Premier Exhausts in Newcastle - he does one off work and has produced some unbelievable systems over the years - that’s if you do want a one off.
