I wanted some Ohlins shocks that were out of stock in the places I tried here in the UK.

I ordered some from here: http://www.kyleusa.com

That’s Dan Kyle on this forum. I ordered them on Friday... they arrived here in England, from the USA today, Monday.

Top man Dan !

Good for Dan!

This also says that our postal service seems to be improving greatly. My brother sent an eBay package USPS Priority Mail on Saturday and it was delivered 4 states away on Sunday.

Nigel, are you replacing the Maxton's or are they for another bike?

Öhlins products are the best. Please post you details around this latest purchase. Pictures would be best as well.

Noooo, the Maxton’s are cool.

This is for another (none Norton) bike...
I'm pleased to hear that. I've bought some Maxton T260 shocks for my Norton in July, partly based on your research and recommendations and I have an earlier Maxton rear shock variant on my T160 which I'm pleased with. Since buying them, I've done a 2,200 mile tour 2 up with them and they are a great improvement over the Ikons, although to be fair to Ikon's, the Maxton's are bespoke for my bike with the 2 up weight being allowed for with the spring choice.

When I read that you were buying the Ohlin's I wondered if you'd found a problem with the Maxton's and were moving on.

I‘m still chuffed with the Maxton’s...
