Wiring Harness Help!!!

Was out riding this weekend and the harness got french fried while I was riding!! I got the harness yesterday, order it from commando specialties. I have it all hooked up and the bike runs, but when you hit the brakes it shuts off. If anyone could help me figure this all out, I would appreciate it. I've got a '74 850.

Samething happened to me last weekend.
Meltdown. Ordered the Commando Specialties Harness.
Hasn't arrived yet, but due and anticipating install this weekend.
I'll be watching this thread with interest huh?

Going by the symptom you're describing, try disconnecting the rear & then the front brake light switches sequentially while testing in between. Which ever one solves the problem is the circuit you have to address. Is it just shutting down or is it blowing fuses?
 
I took the light bulb out of the taillight and the bike ran fine for a while then stopped. I like the new harness and it went right on the bike. My problem is that since I fried the harness I may not have everything plugged in right. I'm going to post again about that,
