Hi everybody!
I purchased an original Wipac Triconsul switch for my 70 Commando and have a few questions about it:
Wipac Triconsul switch

The bike was fitted with the later style Lucas control units . I want to restore it to get the original look on the handlebars.
The high beam flasher knob is brown on my switch, normaly it should be a green knob?
Hope it is a Triconsul and not a Tricon with kill switch ! I have no comparison.

The seller said an internal screw is missing but there was never a screw fitted on that empty hole. I can see no marks.

Wiring: a cable bridge should be applied from the high beam flasher to the high/low beam knob. Is it internal or do I have to
connect the bridge?

Can anybody post reference pictures or help me with my issues?
Thanks

As I understand it, you need to fit the "LINK WIRE" between the two terminals as shown on the Triconsul diagram.

The original switch on my 70S had a green and black button along with the high low switch. Here's a hand made wiring diagram I made from it, the harness for this switch goes into the headlamp shell where it connects up with everything else. I don't have a pic of the inside of the switch, but it seems to me that there was a jumper in there between the flasher contact and the BW wire to make things work right.

Thanks all, and especially to DogT, the spare terminal is where the White wire connects to the amp meter, thanks again everyone, David
