Well this is odd.
I was pressing the buttons/switches on the hand controls, and trying to see what worked and what didn't. Well I pressed one button on the tight hand grip, on the bottom and the headlight lit up. Then I pressed another one above it and heard a fairly loud "hisss" kind of sounded like pressure releasing, or something like that...Any Idea WHAT this could possibly be??
Battery venting or something crazy like that?

You havn't got a dead short causing the battery to bubble and vent or is just the british horn.

The lower button on the R/H switch cluster as you have found is the headlamp flash, the upper button should be for the horn?
Maybe the horn isn't correctly adjusted so is making a strange hissing noise? Or could somebody have fitted an air horn kit?

The R/H rocker switch is headlamp dipswitch (High/Low beam)

The L/H switch cluster upper button is a kill button, and the lower button is a 'spare' button so does nothing. The rocker switch is for indicators/blinkers/flashers.

Later models had the switch clusters swapped over, so the headlamp flash, dipswitch, and horn were on the left handlebar, and the spare, indicators and kill switches were on the right.
