I find 16" tires are similar in outer diameter to 19". Thing is they are a lot wider so when cornering they don't have the symmetry that 2 19" wheels maintain. I find they spin out real easy on corners.

RennieK, Shame on you for knowing about wide tires leaned over far. I've lined up Peel's 19x110, 18x120 and 16" Harley 140 and to see the profiles get more rounded as rims OD shrink and tires width increase so 16" tread profile most round and edge is almost parallel w/o the sharp drop off of the smaller tires. Also aligned with 17" race rear x 170 which looks more like a car tire with sharp end to the traction surface before it bends to side wall so I find too easy to fall off its edge. I use up the race tires 160-170's to very edges w/o going very hard on SuVee to get some mileage so gradually erase the melted blobs and torn surface that real racers caused till pretty smooth before center cords showing. Ground fouling stand, pegs or muffler limits factory Cdo lean to tire edge so don't really matter till rather more lean clearance gained. If peg end beveled 45' ya can just eliminate chicken strip on either side if the grinding down sounds don't annoy or pogo you.

if I was you, I'd keep the 19" front and rear. It's just an all around better set up. And I've tried both.
The Atlas 18" rear was a US market thing. All the UK model Dominators had 19" rear.

US market thing??
